Kris Schinske

Playwright and Director - Kris Schinske Wolfe is an accomplished actor, theatre technician, and published children’s author. Since moving to Oklahoma in 1990, she has appeared in over fifty stage productions here, and in local films, print, radio, television, and web ads. Kris is known for her authenticity, versatility, and character voices, which she delights in conveying through performance.

Kris has a passion for storytelling in all forms and thrives when given the opportunity to collaborate with a team to share a great story with the community. Respect for the project and the audience is of utmost importance to her. Being present and listening are vital components to her work backstage, on stage, in the box office, and in the house.

Kris studied theatre at the University of Central Oklahoma and holds an AA in Early Childhood Education and a BS in Family Studies and Gerontology. She is the creator and moderator for the social media group, Theatre by Women and is the founder of Flavor of the Month Productions and Fairies Tell Theatre. Kris is a member of Actor’s Equity Association.
